Ingenuity project manager at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, MiMi Aung, said during a post-flight briefing on Monday that the team has been working on the project for nearly seven years, and had to overcome hurdles including making the chopper light enough to fly in Mars’ thin air.
