When asked about paid sick days on Wednesday, Ontario Premier Doug Ford again defended his decision not to implement provincially-mandated paid sick leave because of a federal program that would provide financial assistance for those who need it. “There is a program out there. If I put the word Ontario and not put Canada, would you be happy? It’s the same tax payer,” said Ford.
