Joe Buffalo is a short film that chronicles the life and career of the Indigenous skateboarding legend. Buffalo is also a survivor of Canada's residential school system. Following a traumatic childhood and decades of drug and alcohol abuse, Joe says the film helped him face his inner demons and his past. He spoke with Gord Steinke about the award-winning film.
