Minister of Environment and Climate Change Jonathan Wilkinson praised on Thursday the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the constitutionality of the federal government’s carbon tax. He said “this is an historic day” for the economy, adding that the ruling reaffirms that carbon pricing is integral to fighting climate change.
