Historic mistreatment at root of COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy among Canada’s Indigenous population

They’re one of the most vulnerable populations during the pandemic, so why are some Indigenous Canadians hesitant to get a COVID-19 vaccine? Canada’s First Nations doctor of pharmacy, Jaris Swidrovitch, said past mistreatment is at the root of some First Nations, Metis and Inuit people’s fears.
