Dr. Anthony Fauci, chief medical adviser to President Biden, appeared on “Face the Nation” on Sunday. He acknowledged the psychological toll the past year has taken on Americans and said new Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for safe interactions for vaccinated Americans will be released in the “next couple of days.” He said he also expects available COVID-19 vaccine doses to be “dramatically increased” in the next few weeks.
