The Shanghai Jews

Betty Grebenshikoff was just nine years old when she escaped Hitler’s Germany. Dozens in her family would be killed in Nazi death camps. Her father managed to get tickets for a passage to Shanghai, one of the only places on the planet that would accept undocumented Jews. Betty talks about settling with her family in Shanghai and living there through the Second World War.
