On Tuesday United States senators held their first hearing to discuss what led up to the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol and what can be done to prevent it from ever happening again. Former Chief of U.S. Capitol Police, Steven Sund, outlined for the Senate Rules Committee and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee why he felt that Congress was the target of a “coordinated” attack.
