Across Canada, employment decreased by about 213,000 jobs in January, with the national unemployment rate now sitting at 9.4 per cent — the highest since August. Many of the losses were part-time and coming from Quebec and Ontario. But it seems Alberta is bucking that trend. Nicole Stillger explains.
