The Coalition Avenir Québec government caused some concern among the province’s Anglophone community on Friday after going public with changes it is hoping to see in federal language laws. As Global’s Dan Spector reports, Quebec wants Canada to recognize it a protector of the French language which has some worried to rights of English speakers could be in danger.
