An independent consulting agency hired to probe Canada’s former governor general Julie Payette, alleges that Payette and her deputy assistant oversaw a toxic and poisoned work environment. Now that’s just the alleged work environment at Rideau Hall, but what about other workplaces where employees are feeling harassed and abused. Global’s Sharmeen Somani lays out steps for what to do when dealing with a toxic situation at work.
