Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby said Thursday the Taliban “has not been meeting their commitments” in ending violent attacks following a preliminary deal to press forward with peace talks. Kirby said, as a result, it is difficult to “see a specific way forward” and that a final decision on the presence of U.S. troops could not be made.
