Calgary’s water likely safe following coal policy changes; High River area a concern

Open-pit coal mining and its potential impacts in Alberta were discussed by Calgary city council on Wednesday. Although the city’s drinking water won’t be affected, the changes to the provincial coal policy have created contradictions to regional plans south of the city. Adam MacVicar reports.
