Coronavirus: U.K. opposition says government ‘too slow’ as COVID-19 deaths top 100,000
Britain’s opposition Labour leader Keir Starmer said on Tuesday the U.K. government has been “too slow” to act to curb the spread of the coronavirus from the onset of the pandemic. Britain has the world’s fifth highest toll from COVID-19 and on Tuesday it announced that the death toll in the country from the pandemic had passed 100,000 people.
