Protesters gather outside Russian embassy in New York in solidarity with mass demonstrations

Protesters gathered outside the Russian embassy in New York City on Saturday to show solidarity with their counterparts in Russia, who are demonstrating in support of detained Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny. More than 2,500 people have been detained so far in Russia, and police used force to break up rallies across the country.
