Coronavirus: Quebec premier defends police fining homeless people amid curfew

Quebec Premier François Legault said on Thursday that police officers know the reality of people experiencing homelessness and won’t fine them “for fun” and must guide them to a shelter, but he insisted there must be tools used to enforce the curfew.
