Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller said Wednesday that the federal government’s review of a Canadian Human Rights Tribunal (CHRT) decision to broaden eligibility criteria under Jordan’s Principle “was not taken lightly,” adding that the government has “strong jurisdictional challenges” regarding the court’s authority on areas of “identity and belonging.”
