Coronavirus: Ontario’s 1st net-new hospital in over 30 years to open in Vaughan, Ont. in coming weeks

Ontario Premier Doug Ford said Monday in “a few short weeks,” the Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital in Vaughan, Ont. will open and will be the first net-new built hospital in the province in over 30 years, expanding capacity for COVID-19 care. “You need to mobilize every resource available,” said Ford, regarding the fight against COVID-19.
