Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and one of the U.S. top officials on COVID-19, said on Sunday’s Meet the Press that president-elect Joe Biden’s plan to complete 100 million vaccinations in 100 days is “absolutely doable.” He also said he expects emergency use authorization for the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines to come “very soon,” potentially within the next few weeks.
