National Guard troops fill U.S. Capitol during Donald Trump impeachment debate

As the U.S. House of Representatives gathered on Wednesday to consider impeaching Donald J. Trump for his role in insurrection of the U.S. Capitol last week, National Guard troops lined the interior of the Capitol building, which just five days before was violently stormed by the president’s supporters.
