4 people dead following US Capitol riots: Washington D.C. police

Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department Chief Robert Contee on Wednesday, alongside Mayor Muriel Bowser, delivered an update on the pro-Trump riots at the Capitol, stating that four people in total died during the course of the day’s events. One was shot, and three others were “separate medical emergencies” according to Contee.
