Gen. Rick Hillier, head of the Ontario COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Task Force, said on Tuesday that as of Dec. 29, the province had expanded to 19 hospitals running vaccination sites, primarily across southern Ontario and Ottawa. More than 14,000 people have been vaccinated, including long-term care workers, residents and health care workers, he added.
