Rare uncovering of ice age mummified wolf pup opens door to discovery for paleontologists

Paleontologists from the University of Alaska Fairbanks describe the significance of a discovery of a mummified Pleistocene gray wolf pup found in the permafrost of a gold mine in Dawson City, Yukon Territory in July of 2016.
