Premier Jason Kenney said increased mental illness, emotional health crisis, domestic violence and addictions issues are an unintended consequences of COVID-19 public health measures. He also said CERB payments may have contributed to overdoses, and highlighted some of the programs available in Alberta to help those struggling.
