12 Days of Giving: Toronto gamer ‘Chica’ donates thousands of dollars to various toy drives

Professional gamer and content creator Maria Lopez, known as “Chica,” set out to make Christmas a little brighter for some of Toronto’s independent toy stores and for hundreds of local children in need. She spent thousands of dollars purchasing toys from small businesses so that the toys would be donated to various charities, including the Toronto Fire Fighters’ Toy Drive.
