Coronavirus: Minister says Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca vaccines undergoing review process

Canada’s Procurement Minister Anita Anand on Tuesday said that they had begun the regulatory approval process for the Moderna, Pfizer and AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine candidates, stressing the process would be rigorous to ensure proper safety. She also said they have signed contracts for cold storage of vaccines due to the requirements needed for some vaccines to be kept at cold temperatures, saying it is part of the process to distribute the vaccine effectively across the country.
