Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam said on Friday that there are indicators the country is not testing enough people for COVID-19. According to the World Health Organization, the percentage of people who test positive out of the overall number of people tested should be maintained under 5 percent, Canada’s is now above 6.5 percent, indicating that transmission is increasing and testing should be accelerated.
