Minister of environment explains Bill C-12 framework

Minister of Environment and Climate Change Jonathan Wilkinson laid out on Thursday the key components of Bill C-12 of the government’s commitment to zero-net emissions by 2050. It includes the establishment of an independent net-zero advisory body, and the requirement for a review by the commissioner of environment and sustainable development on the government’s climate change progress.
