A judge ruled Saturday that President Donald Trump’s appointee as acting secretary for the Department of Homeland Security, Chad Wolf, did not have the authority to suspend the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program. The judge said he had assumed his position unlawfully, effectively overturning Wolf’s suspension of the program.
