A 2020 luxury vehicle was destroyed by fire in Port Hope on Sunday. Around 3:40 p.m. firefighters responded to a fully involved fire of a 2020 Genesis parked outside Hope Mart on Toronto Road. An added concern were propane tanks nearby the vehicle at the storefront and gas pumps in the parking lot. The owner of the vehicle reports they were heading their way to back to Hamilton and had stopped at the mart for a coffee. When they left the store, they found the vehicle on fire. The cause of the blame has yet to be determined.
