When speaking about the fisheries dispute in Nova Scotia on Monday, Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller said the acts of violence that have recently occurred at Indigenous-used fishing pounds are “disgusting, unacceptable, and racist in nature.” Miller stated that it’s a “disgrace” to see these “acts of intimidation” take place in Canada.
