During the vice presidential debate on Wednesday night, Sen. Kamala Harris argued that the family of Breonna Taylor “deserves justice” after she was shot and killed by officers serving a warrant. None of the officers involved were charged directly in her death. Vice President Mike Pence responded by saying that justice will be served, but also argued there was “no excuse for the rioting and the looting” that followed her death.
