NDP leader Jagmeet Singh called on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during Wednesday’s Question Period to “clearly commit” to make a COVID-19 vaccine free for all Canadians, Trudeau said an independent committee of experts will advise the government of the best way of distribution. However, life-saving vaccines are free for Canadians through the universal health care system, he added.
