Green Party Leader Annamie Paul said on Tuesday that she was encouraged to hear the Liberals and NDP talking about a guaranteed livable income program and was expecting the government to introduce a pilot program for the initiative amid the COVID-19 pandemic. She added that the Liberals provided nothing on that front in the Throne Speech, and that’s among reasons for her party not supporting it.
