Canada’s first all-Black volunteer fire department hall sold back to African Nova Scotian community

Canada’s first all-Black volunteer fire department hall in Upper Hammonds Plains is being sold to the community to be transformed into a youth centre. The fire hall has been vacant for seven years but the building itself has a lot of cultural importance for the African nova Scotian community. Alicia Draus has more.
