U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters on Saturday that a deal is moving along with Oracle and Walmart to take over TikTok operations in the U.S. after he issued a ban on downloading the Chinese app over national security concerns, adding that the two companies will be hiring 25,000 staff as part of a Texas-based TikTok company.
