Freeland says U.S. decision to drop aluminum tariffs was ‘not a negotiated deal’

Canadian Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland on Tuesday, in addressing the U.S. decision to lift 10 per cent tariffs on Canadian aluminum exports into the U.S., said the decision was “not a negotiated deal” and should the U.S. choose to re-impose tariffs, Canada will respond accordingly.
