Canada’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Theresa Tam on Tuesday said that they are looking into ways to “augment” current methods of testing for COVID-19, but they need to continue monitoring to see how effective and safe it is, as well as how long it takes for results to be received. She added that they are also looking at newer approaches that may be “coming up.”
