A man suffered non-life threatening injuries following an ATV crash north of Cobourg on Sunday.
Just before 1 p.m. emergency crews were called to a trail east of Turk Road in Hamilton Township for reports that an ATV rolled and fell on the driver while riding with a group of other ATVers.
Emergency responders — including Hamilton Township Fire Department, Northumberland Paramedics and Northumberland OPP — had to use ATVs to access the victim who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The victim was extricated by firefighters and transported to Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
