UN rights office says Jamal Khashoggi murder trial fell short on transparency, accountability

The United Nations human rights office on Tuesday said that the Saudi trial into the killing of Jamal Khashoggi lacked transparency and fell short on assigning accountability for the crime. A court jailed eight people for between seven and 20 years in Khashoggi’s death.
