Keeping the Canada and United Stated border closed will help contain the spread of coronavirus, as long as numbers between the two nations remains at a huge disparity, Anthony Fauci, the top U.S. government official on infectious diseases, said in an interview with Global News. In the wide-ranging interview with Global’s Jackson Proskow on Friday, Dr. Fauci also said the coronavirus numbers in the U.S. are “unacceptably high” heading into the fall.
