Erin O’Toole becomes new Conservative Party leader, wins on third ballot

Erin O’Toole has won the nomination to become the next leader of the Conservative Party of Canada. The Ontario MP, who will take over the party’s top job from Andrew Scheer, won by a margin of over 4,700 points on Sunday, clinching the win in a reveal that came in the early hours of Monday morning after repeated delays.
