U.S. House passes bill to assist postal service as Trump suggests sending law enforcement to voting stations

The Democrat-controlled U.S. House of Representatives passed legislation on Saturday that would see the U.S. Postal Service receive billions in funding, with the COVID-19 pandemic expected to prompt a flood of mail-in ballots. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump is suggesting he will deploy law enforcement to polling places, but it’s unclear if he has the authority to do so.
