With the winds picking up and changing direction today, many residents, who are currently on evacuation alert are understandably extremely nervous. Hundreds of them spent the day packing up their belongings and hosing down their properties should they be forced to flee their homes. Klaudia Van Emmerik spent the day in one Penticton neighbourhood that’s hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.
