Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton addressed the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday, stating that Democrats need to beat U.S. Donald Trump with “overwhelming” numbers in the upcoming November 2020 presidential election. She quipped Joe Biden and running mate Kamala Harris “can win by 3 million votes and still lose.” When running against Trump in 2016, Clinton won the popular vote by almost 2.9 million votes, yet still lost the election.
