Kingston’s mayor is hopeful $12 million in new pandemic relief funding will be enough to cover municipal deficit.

Kingston mayor Bryan Paterson says this week’s government funding of more than $12 million for pandemic relief aid will go a long way to covering city hall’s COVID-related deficit. But he cautions more expenses could arise in 2021. He talks about how the money will help, and the challenges ahead, in an interview with Global Kingston’s Bill Hutchins.
