WE Charity submits registration to lobby: executive director

WE Charity says it registered earlier in the day when asked about the timing of their submission to Canada’s lobbyist registry during Thursday’s Finance Committee (FINA) hearing regarding the WE Charity affair and its now-cancelled student service grant program. The organization’s executive director Dalal Al-Waheidi said they didn’t believe that it was necessary and would have done so sooner if they thought registration was required.
