Conservative MP Poilievre puts forth motion to suspend Trudeau’s pay until he takes questions in Parliament

During Wednesday’s Standing Committee on Finance (FINA) meeting regarding the WE Charity affair and the now-cancelled student service grant program, Conservative MP and FINA vice-chair Pierre Poilievre put forth a motion that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s pay be suspended “until he returns to work and takes questions in Parliament” due to him taking nearly 20 days off in six weeks, according to Poilievre. The motion was ruled out of order.
