National Hockey League commissioner Gary Bettman thanked the Alberta government, City of Edmonton and Edmonton Oilers for all the effort put into making the city a safe place to host hockey, adding Oilers owner Daryl Katz lobbied harder than any other team owner to bring the playoffs to the city.
