NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh responded to questions on Wednesday regarding allegations that Gov. Gen. Julie Payette has created a toxic work environment for staff at Rideau Hall, saying that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has an “obligation” to investigate, “given how serious the complaints are.” Singh said he was not prescriptive about what should be done to follow up, but that Trudeau “should set a good example for the country.”
